costs down while striving to keep the cemetery well maintained, neat
and safe. We rely heavily on volunteers to help with this endeavour.

A partial list of volunteer activities to help fulfill your community service hours:
Pick up sticks and branches throughout both sides of the cemetery.
Pull and trim weeds, vines, overgrown grasses etc. that conceal headstones.
Remove dead flowers and plants from gravesites.
(Please place all above items in piles near the water spigots or the intersections of roadways.)RAKE pinecones, walnuts etc. into piles, place in buckets and dispose of them at home.
(Please do NOT leave them in the cemetery.)
Get rid of faded or damaged artificial flowers, pots etc. by taking them home.
(The highway crew will not dispose of non-biodegradable items.)
Clear/reestablish/reopen the nature path through the East Cemetery's wooded area.
